Iowa Hawkeye Scentsy Warmer
Scentsy sold 11,000 University of Iowa Scentsy warmers within its first day of sales on December 1. This far surpasses our Campus Collection warmer record, which sold 7,700 in 30 days. You told us the Iowa Scentsy warmer would be a top seller, but we did not project this level of sales. We turned off sales of the warmer on December 2 while we worked to evaluate how to adjust to this higher sales volume. We apologize to our Scentsy Consultants and customers for this inconvenience, and for underestimating the sales potential.
We sent a rush order to the factory and will air freight as many warmers as possible, as quickly as possible. We believe everyone who ordered before the stop sale went into effect on Friday, December 2, will get their University of Iowa warmers in time for Christmas. We have turned ordering back on, and are allowing our Scentsy Consultants and customers to order this warmer into backorder status so you can benefit from full Scentsy party sales and Host Rewards in December.
Orders will be shipped on a first in, first out basis as best we can across three distribution centers.
Orders placed after the December 2 stop sales will be filled as soon as possible, but most likely in January.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused many of you. Rest assured, we will learn from this experience and will never again underestimate the passion Iowa fans have for their Hawkeyes.
