Scentsy Bar Favorite: Cherry Limeade Scentsy Scents
Scentsy has created a new Scentsy Bar from an old soda fountain drink favorite. Cherry Limeade is also one of the more popular drinks at Sonic Drive-ins. In any case, I am a sucker for “exotic” beverages and Scentsy scents. If there are any new Scentsy scents, I’ve got to try it. When limes are on sale, I can’t help but make cherry limeade.
Why run out and pay for cherry limeade at time when you can create one to fit your tastes, entirely in the comfort of your own home? It is cheap, fun and tastes delightful on a hot summer day! Here is how to create cherry limeade just like a scentsy consultant pro.
Items Needed
- 1 can of lemon lime soda
- 1 jar of maraschino cherries with stem attached
- 2 tablespoons cherry syrup, (or cherry juice, or grenadine if you’re into that)
- 1 fresh lime
- A glass of crushed ice
What to do
- Pour two tablespoons of cherry juice over a glass of crushed ice. I like to serve mine in a large styrofoam cup. The ice lasts longer.
- Next, cut your lime in half, then cut one half into quarters. Squeeze one or two lime quarters (depending on how much you like the extra lime flavor) over your ice.
- Then add the preferred amount of maraschino cherries. This is one of the wonderful things when creating your cherry limeade at home, you can have as many cherries as you would like.
- Last pour your lemon lime soda in over all the ingredients, stir it with a straw, top it off with a couple of lime wedges and an umbrella, and enjoy!
Be careful of giving yourself brainfreeze. With your tongue, see if you can tie a cherry stem in a knot.
